November 14, 2016 -Making A Difference was founded when Chef Tony Hilker helped a friend with her non-profit, Feed My Peeps, a few months prior. He was struck by how many resources weren't being used in our community and he wanted to utilize them to make a difference. December 27, 2017 - It was just a few days after Christmas, it was 12° outside and Michelle Noyes saw what appeared to be a bag of trash. MAD & the community responded immediately! Click on the photos below to read the articles & watch the videos to see what making a difference together means to us!

July 12, 2017 - It was a special day & evening of serving for the volunteers of Making A Difference. We hung out with our friends at the homeless camps in East St. Louis where we passed out clothes & toiletries then had a delicious BBQ, making sure stomachs were full and there were smiling faces. We followed that with baptisms, prayers, and fellowship.
December 21, 2016 - It was a very cold night but that never stops our volunteers from serving! We always start and end street outreach by forming a circle & saying a prayer. The homeless we serve become our friends and we care about every single one we meet. We talk to them, we listen to their stories and offer hugs, comfort & a prayer along with food, clothing, toiletries & basic necessities.
